Hardcase Wallet 16mm think (Snaps Close)
thingiverse
I've always craved a hardcase wallet and wasn't willing to spend money or wait for a cheap one from China. So I decided that after mastering Solidworks, I'd make this hardcase wallet myself. It's designed to snap shut so it won't open in your pocket by accident - though results may vary depending on your printer. The wallet uses standard M3x16 screws and 1 nut as a hinge. I'm pleased with how it turned out. I've included two separate bottom parts, allowing you to print Wallet_Bottom.STL if you prefer loose cards or switch to printing Wallet_Insert even after finishing the first part. Be sure to sand the hinge and insert for minimal clearance. I'd love to try printing it in metal-filled PLA, which could potentially make this wallet RFID-blocking. If anyone wants to give it a shot, please let me know.
