Hardbody Racing Slotcar

This is a 1/24th scale "Hardbody" slotcar chassis. It is made to fit many 1/24 and 1/25 scale model cars. The Wheelbase is 4 5/8". The inner width is about 2 5/8", but some bodies can be stretched to fit. The body is held on by Velcro, with the hook side stuck to the rails on the chassis, with the soft side stuck to the inside of the body. The guide holder must be glued to the chassis where it will not hit the body and can swing freely. Two of these are included with slightly different holes, as not all guide shoes are the same. It takes a 16D motor. The clearance is determined by tire size. When mounting the motor, use screws with larger heads or use washers to keep the screws from pulling through the PLA. A little glue on the motor can hold the motor tight without torqueing the screws too hard. The guide holder can be flipped to reach down if you have larger tires.
