Hardaway-Dalton spear point. Found at Hardaway site (31St4), Stanly County, North Carolina. Dated to Late Paleoindian period (8500-7900 BC). Made from metavolcanic rock. Measurements: length is 52.4 mm, width is 36.2 mm, thickness is 6.8 mm. Cataloged as no. 604a15 in the North Carolina Archaeological Collection at Research Laboratories of Archaeology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
