I crafted this template for converting soft sector floppies into hard sector ones, specifically designed for 10 sector floppies employed in vintage Northstar and Heathkit computers. To apply it: * Align both sides of the template holes with the index hole of the disk. * Snap or bolt them together tightly. * To generate the holes, I relied on a high-powered laser to burn through the disk material. * Alternatively, you'll need to employ your own creative problem-solving skills to create them. * From there, simply rotate the disk until the template hole aligns with the index window and punch out the new hole. So far, I've utilized the version without hand grips to produce a batch of hard sector disks, all of which successfully booted up in my Northstar computer.
