Updated 3/7/2018 After printing several test pieces, I decided to fine-tune the clipping mechanism. Pictures do not relate to this update; they were taken of an earlier design. I will soon post new pictures showcasing them in action. Updated 3/4/2018 I recently modified a few aspects of the clip, adding rounded edges and incorporating the IBEW element along with the Carpenter pencil feature. The current hard hat clips on my headgear are based on an earlier design, but I noticed individuals with prominent ears struggle to accommodate the two-hold setup. In response, I separated the holders for pencils on one side and Sharpies on the other. This is a 2-piece hard hat clip designed for holding Sharpies, pencils, and headlamps. Included is a blank logo STL clip for users who prefer to create their own custom logo design. When printing this item, I recommend using supports; the logo should be printed as top layers to achieve optimal quality on the tab section. One thing I've observed with higher infill percentages is that it becomes more challenging to snap the pieces together, and the slots may exhibit increased durability. To assemble the flashlight clip correctly, rotate it so that the logo side faces upwards.
