Hard Drive Sled for CM 690 III case
thingiverse
This is a hard drive sled for mounting 3.5" and 2.5" hard drives in a Cooler Master CM 690 III case (aka CM693). The original drive sleds are adjustable to fit either in the 3.5" bays or 2.5" bays. Since the upper bays can be configured to be either 2.5" or 3.5" wide, I've made my sled to fit the 3.5" width, but I've included the FreeCAD project file so you could just change a couple numbers to make it work in the narrower bays. I printed mine on end with the release tabs sticking up so that the layers would span through the side walls and the base plate. My first print snapped the side off the bottom. The release tabs are a bit weaker like this though. If you are only mounting a 3.5" drive, you could remove the base plate and just print side walls to screw into the drive as the base is only needed for 2.5" drives and keeping the sides together when not attached to a 3.5" drive.
