Parametric 3/4 Height to Full Height Hard Drive Adapter. Full-height 3.5-inch drives are becoming increasingly hard to find, and some slot-in drive bays (e.g., Drobo) can allow a wobble that puts strain on the drive connector over time when using a 3/4 height drive. This can make the Drobo or drive prone to serious damage. This problem is solved with an adapter that fits on top, making the drive full-height. If there's not enough space around the drive for cooling, you may have to drill holes in this design for airflow.
