You're futurejames and have a tendency of hoarding hard drives. Despite this, you managed to acquire a turntable for 3D scanning purposes - one that can only be operated by hand. To use it, first take apart the hard drive, remove its innards (platters), but ensure the bearing stays inside along with the tall center hub. Next, print out the platter; removing the painter's tape might prove tricky, so try swearing at it for lubrication if you don't have anything else handy. Then, carefully place the platter on the center hub; it will be a tight fit, but placing it flat on a hard surface and pushing the drive into it should help maintain its level positioning. Remember, hoarding isn't so bad when you put your items to good use! Lastly, due to Makerbot's legal changes, the license for this has been made more restrictive. Sorry about that!
