Take it to the Fridge! A tried-and-true one-time fix using magnets from a deceased Seagate Hawk (ST31230N, circa 1995) Only works if there are threaded holes on 1-inch centers on the magnet yoke. You can also reuse some of the Torx screws from the hard drive itself, including the long screws and standoffs that hold the magnet yoke together. By the way, a stepped plastic furniture shim makes an excellent tool to pry these robust magnets apart...
