We're reviving a classic "return": our goal is to create long-lasting cheese made from rich milk - carefully salted by hand at storage facilities. The Dutch developed a method for making cheese that's easy to store, covered with a layer of wax: such cheeses existed earlier as compact, round bars in Germany when we didn't have refrigerators. We kept them for a long time in a pantry. Our aim is to bring back this format: offer free hard-to-store hard cheeses wrapped in wax when giving out free food! With a wax coating because we need to separate everything left over today. Plastic coatings - at least in Germany - are tricky to separate, certainly not by type; it's non-recyclable waste that ends up being thermally disposed of! We don't want waste! That's why we use an outer wax coating and protect our hard cheese with wax. Other shapes will follow: step, igs, stl.
