Harbor Freight trim router circle jig
thingiverse
The mini trim router sold by Harbor Freight comes with a bracket that can be used as a circle jig for radii between approximately 62mm and 162mm. To create this jig, you will need the following components: 1. A long M3 screw (25-40mm in length), an M5.5 hex nut, and an M3 washer to secure the pivot point and knob holder. 2. The Drillmaster 62659 trim router and its included parts, brackets, fasteners. Print out the necessary parts and attach the knob to the handle with the M3 screw. It is recommended to apply Loctite to the thread to prevent it from loosening over time. Measure the distance between the router bit and the M3 screw to determine the circle radius, then use the included wingnut and carriage bolt to secure the assembly. Drill a 3mm pilot hole to serve as the pivot point for the jig. The knob component is optional but adds convenience when using this tool. This is my first upload; if you have any suggestions or recommendations, please feel free to share them. I will be updating all of my projects from here on out with improvements based on my experiences using these tools.
