Harbor Freight Trim Router Base with notches for original depth adjustment hardware
thingiverse
My original trim router base broke a while back, and I wanted to make a replacement. I based my remix on lilmikey's design. My trim router however, had a different set-up for the depth adjustment mechanism. My original hardware, which I wanted to keep, needed a cut-out on both sides of the adjustment collar in order to work. I added the cut-outs and was able to keep the same depth adjustment hardware (2 knobs, bolt and gear). My first print of the new design encountered some lifting of the base's bottom corners. I added the "mouse ears" to the corners, and the second print came off perfectly flat. The "mouse ears" were set at a height of .2 mm. They can be easily cut off after removing the print.
