Track saws are expensive but there are these companies that sell what they call "saw plates", like Bora, which are meant to interface with clamp edge guides and give you a lot of the benefits of a track saw. You can get more accurate cuts by restricting motion of the saw from both sides, while also not applying sideways force onto the guide which can lead to it bending in long cuts; ruining the cut. Those are expensive for a hunk of plastic and easy to 3D print. Here is a simple saw plate I fitted to my metabo circular saw which fits onto the Harbor Freight clamp edge guides. So really, a track saw that costs 20$, or less depending on the length of the edge guide. The plate slides snugly on top of the rail and the saw fits snugly on top. There is a lip in the front so the saw pushes the plate forward but the two are not clamped together, so it's mechanically simple. I included the freeCAD files so you can alter the dimensions to fit to your saw and guide. I suggest printing it standing up with the lip against the build plate. I printed the lip with 100% infill and the rest was pretty low, 15% I think.
