This is a DIY mounting system for Braun's 4 Ft hanging shop lights, easily sourced at Harbor Freight. To be honest, I don't appreciate suspending these from chains as intended, so I created this custom mount to make them more permanent fixtures. Since the cord exits the top of the light fixture, there are two versions of this holder available. One design allows for mounting on an open ceiling or wall when there's ample space above the light. The other version accommodates installation against a finished wall or ceiling by providing room for the cord to pass through. No additional support brackets are required.
