Harbor Freight Ratcheting Bar Clamp Trigger Handle
thingiverse
I successfully crafted the handle using Inventor, but the grip area turned out a bit rough around the edges. However, the business end fit perfectly and functioned just like the original. This was my first attempt at tracing an image in Inventor, so I scanned the handle, inserted it, and traced it with ease. Next, I recreated the upper mechanical portion as a precise drawing. Hopefully, this will help someone tackle their own project. EDIT: After some use, I managed to break the handle. When I tried applying extra pressure, it snapped under stress. I had used four top/bottom layers initially. To fix this issue, I'm planning to reprint the handle in polylite PETG with six t/b layers and 30 percent infill for added strength.
