Harbor Freight Grinder Stand Stabilizer

I ordered a stand from Harbor Freight. Unfortunately when it arrived, assembly didn't go as planned. The top piece has a tapered hole that fits over the vertical rod. Two issues prevent this piece from staying level when assembled: 1. The top of the rod doesn't rest against a flat surface. Maybe it is intended to, but due to the quality of the piece, it can't. 2. The rod sits in a tapered hole, secured by one bolt. This forces the rod into an angle, as it pushes against the far wall of the casting. I fixed this with two separate 3-D printed parts: 1. A cap for the rod, which provides a narrowed flat surface that reaches the flat plate for the grinder mount. 2. A sleeve, which surrounds the rod at the height of the bolt, keeping the rod in the center of the casting.
