Harbor Freight Chicago Electric Random Orbital Sander Dust Port
thingiverse
My Chicago Electric model 93431 Harbor Freight sander just had a flimsy little cloth baggie on a plastic clip-on frame for dust collection that finally tore apart, but the motor seems to be working fine and the velcro pad is still doing okay, so I created a small adapter to fit a Ridgid 1.25" dust collection nozzle onto it. I kept the original part that actually connects to the sander, and cut it down so there's just under an inch of plastic for the adapter to fit onto. My particular 1-1/4" nozzle tapers from 30 to 32 mm outside diameter, so I made the port 31mm. It's a tight fit on both sides, but the semi-circle went onto the remaining plastic of the clip quite securely (a heat gun or some dremel work may help), and the hose seems to be snug enough for the moderate movement it will see connected to the sander. The design is quick and dirty, but I couldn't find anything else online that fits this sander.
