Harbor Freight Caliper Battery Cover

One of the prongs on my Harbor Freight 6" caliper's battery cover snapped off. The cover still functioned, but it often fell off. In the end, I lost it completely. Searching online brought up several different battery cover models on Thingiverse. Some were truly stunning, however none of them seemed to work properly. The closest working model I found was Geoffs Digital Caliper Battery Cover by geoff_cohen, thing 1130777. Using this model as a starting point, I decided to redo it until I had a cover that required minimal cleanup and adjustment. It took more effort than expected. The small tabs on the battery cover were a pain, and the required dimensions needed to be determined with the battery installed. The model in this "thing" requires little cleanup, snaps on and off with minimum effort, is repeatable between prints, and works perfectly. It isn't flawless, but it achieves the state of being "good enough". It is currently installed on my calipers. I have included The Designspark Mechanical source file for those who want to pursue additional tweaks.
