I created a custom exhaust cap for my Harbor Freight #68021 Air Nailer after discovering that the original component was no longer available due to its discontinued status. To fabricate this part, I designed it in two separate halves, carefully assembled them onto the nailer, and then bonded them together using methylene chloride solvent cement - a versatile adhesive commonly used for acrylic applications. If you haven't yet experimented with this type of solvent, I highly recommend acquiring some as soon as possible; its non-stick properties make it incredibly useful in various projects. Please note that my design may also be compatible with models 68019 and 63156, although I cannot guarantee a perfect fit without further testing.
