Happy water bottle tote
thingiverse
This is a water bottle tote that attaches to your belt loop, making it easy to carry with you wherever you go. It prints in two parts, which are attached using acetone, also known as nail polish remover. I added a ring from a key ring and a simple carabiner clip to make it more functional. Not all water bottles are created equally, and I found that the bottles from Costco's Kirkland brand are slightly larger at the base, making them harder to slide in easily. The inner diameter of the tote is 67mm, which is equivalent to about 2.64 inches. You may want to scale up the STL file by a percent or two to make it more universal. Print Settings: Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20 Infill: 20-25% Notes: The base requires no supports, but the top portion needs one or two supports for the arch where the ring attaches. Print the two parts separately and then assemble them by wiping the inside opening of the top portion with acetone, dipping the top of the rod for the lower portion in acetone, and pressing them together. Wipe additional acetone on top of and below the two pieces and hold until set. Finally, run the ring through the hoop and connect the carabiner clip.
