Happy New Year 2014: Get Horsey!!!

Wishing a Happy New Year to our Chinese friends, I created an image using Blender. The elements, such as text and horse, were derived from SVG files converted into DXF with Inkscape and then STL with OpenSCAD. Meshlab was used to create the Voronoi frame and lucky balls. Please be aware that there are intersecting faces which may not be ideal for printing. To print, convert inches to mm in your Makerware or Repertier host. On Makerware, rotate the frame and background along Z by 45 degrees to fit the platform. The STL files and Blend file are available for those interested in remixes. Have a great New Year! Seb
