Found a free graphic whale model on TF3DM and converted it into a printable format using meshmixer software. I adapted this splash to fit my needs: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:237065 This design makes an excellent counterbalance, requiring no glue at the base. The loose fin serves as a support, eliminating the need for additional supports. Print Settings: Printer: Home-built printer Rafts: No rafts used Supports: No supports were required Resolution: A resolution of 0.2 was chosen Infill: Dealer's choice infill density was selected Notes: I printed with 5% infill, but it melted the top fin due to my inattention. To resolve this issue, I re-printed a new one with hollow design and uploaded the .STL file for reference. I successfully used the other loose fin as a support during printing. Post-Printing: Assemble the model by gluing the fin onto its base. Optional: Apply paint to enhance the appearance of the whale.
