Happy Happy Rainbow
thingiverse
I designed a Happy Happy Rainbow with two pieces, featuring a rainbow that was printed with 0.25mm layer heights. The G-code was manually modified based on Modified_Gemini's instructions at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2044713. I didn't need to use any supports for the print. The PLA in the rainbow needs to be removed from the heated bed promptly and held in an arch position to cool down quickly, which helps it hold its shape well when cooled. To ease the fit, I sanded the elephant-foot edges of the happy face. However, the base of the happy face could use some modification to make it more stable. Print Settings: Printer: Aurora A3 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 15% I used FreeCAD to design this model.
