Happy Halloween "Somewhat Stretch" Bracelet
youmagine
As a special treat for grandkids, kids, parents, and grandparents to wear during Halloween Trick Or Treating, I created this Happy Halloween Bracelet that slips smoothly over the hand and onto the wrist. The inner diameters of the included files for the bracelet are sized for most grandkids at 58mm, so I simply scaled these files up for older grandkids, kids, parents, and grandparents before 3D printing using the Ultimaker Cura 4.2.0 scale function with values ranging from 1.1 to 1.3 across both X and Y planes. I've included both single extrusion "Happy Halloween Bracelet.stl" and dual extrusion "Happy Halloween Bracelet.3mf" files for the bracelet, as well as individual black "Happy Halloween Bracelet, Black.stl" and orange "Happy Halloween Bracelet, Orange.stl" files in case you want to merge them before dual extrusion printing. Our bracelets were printed at 0.15mm layer height with 20% infill and no supports using both PLA and Ultimaker Tough PLA for enhanced grandkid resistance. To achieve a cleaner dual extrusion print with this model's fine lettering details, I enabled the Ultimaker Cura 4.2.0 "Prime Tower" and "Ooze Shield" options, resulting in excellent prints (a photograph of one is included). Even with these features enabled, Ultimaker Cura 4.2.0 reported using only 0.85m of bracelet color and 0.33m of letter color, making this model a "remnant print." Without these options, the software reported using 0.62m of bracelet color and 0.18m of letter color. Given the simplicity of this design, I hope I didn't miss anything essential; please let me know if you find any issues. Our family wishes you and yours enjoy this model and have a safe and happy Halloween! This design was created using Autodesk Fusion360, sliced with Ultimaker Cura 4.2.0, and printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 2+ Extended, as well as PLA and Tough PLA on an Ultimaker 3+ Extended and an Ultimaker S5.
