Happy Eggbot and/or Baba Yaga Bot
thingiverse
This robot boasts a "chicken walker" style design with two distinct heads: the cheerful sphere head or the peculiar Baba Yaga house head. For optimal results, each part should be printed at 300% size; 200% also works well. However, 100% requires an exceptionally fine printer. As my first project, I created this model using Blender and printed it on a Makerbot Replicator 2 with white PLA filament. To ensure successful printing, use rafts and supports at normal resolution. For the best outcome, print heads sideways, leg parts lying down (with circular portions parallel to the print surface), and feet standing upright. The provided .thing print files are arranged accordingly. Printing at 200% scale takes approximately 3 hours, while 300% takes around 6 hours.
