Hantendo - DL-44 Zapper

Hantendo - DL-44 Zapper

thingiverse

This is a mashup of the Nintendo Zapper and a DL-44 used by Han Solo. Theres a blog post on my site about building this: https://www.kirkd.co.uk/blog/index.php/hantendo-a-star-wars-and-nintendo-mashup/ The original design was done by Godsanimator on Twitter and I edited the Cinema 4D files into something I could print. The hand grip is a little different to the original render as I wanted to make it more like the Nintendo Zapper so squared off the base slightly. I also tweaked the trigger guard to make it easier to get your finger in. I've broken it into pieces but the hantendo file shows how the whole thing goes together. Everything printed first time except for one of the body pieces above the grip which I rotated in Cura and tried again, coming out perfectly the second time. I also found that I needed to make the battery cover a little thicker so may upload a change to that in the future. You will need to print the scope grip twice to have the front and back versions and I cut the scope in half at a point midway inside one of the grips. So far I've not had a chance to glue or paint mine but I will post updates on here and on my Facebook page as I go along: https://www.facebook.com/castingsofcthulhu/ V2 of a couple of files is now uploaded.
