Hantek 2C/D front cover for 3.2" display
thingiverse
I have a Hantek 2D72 which is a convenient portable scope, but the display is only 2.8" and that's pretty small. The PCB is not well designed and that explains why only 2.8 is installed, but with a bit of adjustment it's possible to fit a 3.2", which gives a much better experience. Driver is an IL9341 and you can find [here](https://www.buydisplay.com/serial-spi-3-2-inch-tft-lcd-module-display-ili9341-power-than-sainsmart) the exact same model with the right flex cable that is purely a drop-in replacement. There is no modification or permanent damage to be done to the scope, it can be restored to its original form. The new front uses the exact same other parts and snaps onto the back. There is also a new support frame for the display that simply pushes it against the cover, it does not hold it in place X/Y (no room for that) The rubber cover also fits. The only "manual" process is the display cover that I've cut manually (74x55). It's not fully centered, one of the tradeoff to have 3.2" (you could center it a bit better but it would compromise rigidity of the top cover. I've printed it at 0.1 mm in Tough PLA using PVA support, but I think it will work as well with lower resolution and traditional support.
