It's a good idea to keep your phone close at hand while driving in your car. This holder is designed specifically for my Honda HRV and my Huawei P9 Lite with its standard 5-inch display, which fits snugly into the small compartment above the radio. The cradle can be rotated so you can use your phone as a GPS navigator either horizontally or vertically to make hands-free calls safely while driving by activating the speakerphone function. By rotating the cradle, you can also access the car's stereo controls or air conditioning buttons. This product is not only suitable for my Honda HRV and Huawei P9 Lite but also works on other cars with a free double-radio slot. The parts of this holder can be printed in PLA, ABS, or PETG, depending on which material withstands the highest temperature inside your car during summer. To make it more robust, print three edges instead of two. Add supports wherever needed, especially in recessed areas. I printed the two jaws together in a vertical position arranged longitudinally. Printer Settings: * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer Model: Prusa i3 DIY * Rafts: None * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 50-70% Post-Printing Assembly Instructions To assemble the jaws to the central block, use a M4 x 50mm screw. To assemble the cradle and tighten it so you can turn it, use a M4x30 screw with a nylon stop nut. Designing this Product The part was designed using Onshape CAD software (https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c79ac5c33f676d22f52ff487/w/aaeb1c0bfb61e0742492d06f/e/b189a52df61ab70fc0ee5441).
