Hans J Wegner WISHBONE CHAIR (Y CHAIR)
thingiverse
The legendary Wishbone Chair, also known as the Y Chair, was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949. I'm a big fan of this chair and decided to create a scale model using my 3D printer. For more information on the Wishbone Chair, visit carlhansen.com: http://www.carlhansen.com/products/chairs/ch24/. To learn more about the brilliant designer Hans J Wegner, check out wikipedia.org: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Wegner. My scale model is 1:10 and measures 55.5mm x 52.2mm x 73.0mm. I used 0.7mm cotton string for the seat. Printing this model was quite a challenge, especially with my DIY 3D printer. It required a lot of sanding to get it just right. Additionally, I needed adhesive because some of the parts were broken during printing. Despite these obstacles, I'm thrilled with the final result - my own Wishbone Chair. Thank you for understanding my imperfect English! Here are the print settings: Printer Brand: RepRap; Printer: Prusa Mendel i2; Rafts: Yes; Supports: Yes; Resolution: 0.1mm; Infill: 20%
