Hankely Common Atlantic Wall - Extended

sketchfab

A replica of the Atlantic Wall stretches across Hankley Common, now expanded to encompass its entire western edge. Built in 1943 by Canadian soldiers, this imposing barrier of reinforced concrete served as a training tool for Operation Overlord. Troops were taught how to breach and overcome defenses along the French coast. The model is scaled accurately and positioned using WGS84 coordinates. A full section of the wall measures approximately 100 meters long, with this particular segment representing its central portion. Model rights are reserved by Simon Brown.
