Hanke M97 Gel Blaster Hopper

Hanke M97 Gel Blaster Hopper

thingiverse

This is a really simple hopper for a Hanke M97 gel blaster toy. Standard they only hold around 20 or so gels, but this will give you significantly more capacity. You won't need to remove the standard cap which keeps the gels in either; just flick it back to the open position. A couple of notes: - The slide lid fits very tightly. That's on purpose because I didn't want tonnes of fasteners to make this work. Before trying to put the lid on properly I found it best in my prototyping to run the lid through the holding fins a few times the wrong way around. Makes it slide a little easier. - I'd print with supports from the print bed only, unless you think you'll be able to do some nice bridging above the picatinny rail. I've specifically used 45° angles in a lot of places to reduce the amount of supports required. - The picatinny rail fitment isn't too bad but you'll need either a M3 grub screw (recommend 6mm or longer) or a M3 metal screw (recommend 8mm or longer) to secure it in place at the front. Don't screw it down too tightly or you might damage the picatinny rail. Would also bore it out with a 2.5mm drill bit before trying to screw it in, just to make things easier. Note that this is for **non-commercial use only** and **derivatives are not allowed**.
