The Korean alphabets or Hangul is a type of script that boasts both alphabetical and syllabic nature, each character representing a syllable including the final sound while each part works as an alphabet letter representing either a vowel or consonant. The shapes of the Hangul alphabets consist of lines, circles, and triangles, making it possible to construct every Hangul letter with these basic shapes. This is a great thing; even if you are short of letters that you need - which happens all the time - if you have those basic shapes, you can make up any of the letters that you need. I created 3D printed basic shapes of the Hangul alphabets. The basic set consists of lines, a circle, and a triangle. You can make any Hangul characters with those basic shapes. Meanwhile, some formed letters are handy as they do not need any assembly. On the back side, there are holes for magnets (5mm x 1mm). I used neodymium magnets and a hot glue gun. While they are available at good prices, they are strong enough to hold the letters. You can put your writing on your fridge or on any metal. The uploaded photos show assembled images of the 3D printed Hangul alphabets (it says Hangul). Enjoy! Updated (2019-01-13) More characters were added and source files were renamed.
