<p><strong>NEW DESIGN AT THIS LINK:</strong> <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/210951-hanging-spool-holder-v2-beta">https://www.printables.com/model/210951-hanging-spool-holder-v2-beta</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>In total you will need to print</strong></p><p>2x Spool Hanger v2 ~2hr each</p><p>1x Spool Pin v4 ~5.5hr</p><p>1x Spool Nut v6 &nbsp;~1hr</p><p>(Time Estimates where using Prusa Slicer .15mm Quality Preset)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Printing Instructions</strong></p><p>Print the Spool Hanger v2 part flat so as much of the part is on the print bed. This should give it enough adhesion to print with no issues. For the spool pin print it with the hex end on the build plate and threads in the air. Lastly with the spool nut print it flat to increase surface area (Looks like a hexagon when looking straight down on the build plate). I also used glue stick to guarantee bed adhesion for the nut since an earlier prototype lifted from my bed and got stuck on the nozzle because of its small surface area…</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Before using make sure the Spool Pin and Spool Nut do not have loose filament in them otherwise the nut will not go on. If both look ok screw nut onto spool pin a couple of times to break in the treads. This will help make putting the nut on easier.</p><p><strong>Use Instructions</strong></p><p>When all parts are completed take the Spool Pin and slide on one of the Spool Hangers. Then slide on the filament spool. Slide on the second Spool Hanger and then screw on the nut.</p><p>NOTE: Spool Nut will not compress filament spool so no need to worry about over tightening but do not try to thread the nut further than intended it should go on pretty easily.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Hope you enjoy it and happy printing!</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
