Nonetheless, it can be adapted to fit under a wooden shelf or similar structures. **WHY IS THIS DISCONTINUED?** Although this system functions effectively, it harbors several minor drawbacks. * The process of adjusting the bearings to align with new spool sizes proves challenging due to their tendency to get stuck, resulting in the shelf potentially detaching from its mounts and causing a cascade effect. * In instances where the printer is left idle for extended periods with PLA filament loaded, moisture in the air can cause the filament to become brittle, leading to breakage within the filament buffers. * This entire setup occupies an excessive amount of space inside the enclosure.
