Hanging Solder Spool Holder

This holder is designed specifically to hang a Kester solder spool, but it can also accommodate other types of spools up to 55mm in outside diameter and 16mm in hole size. It's printed using PLA, PETG, ABS, or Nylon filaments with no supports needed. The design consists of four walls, and the infill is set at 40% for added strength. While it may not be necessary except for PLA spools, this increased density can help counterbalance the weight of the spool. A press-fit retainer is included in the design to prevent the roll from sliding off when hanging. Although it's intended to fit snugly without any modifications, a bit of sanding might be required. Alternatively, you can permanently affix the retainer using CA glue if needed. To hang the holder, use #8 x 3/4 wood screws or an equivalent fastening method.
