Featuring a hanging design for your 3D printer, a 608 bearing spool ensures smooth filament feeding to the extruder. The spool can twist as it unwinds by hanging with a line. A ball-bearing swivel snap may be inserted (fishing supplies). However, the spool might not continually spin. This RepRap Spool Holder is highly adjustable for various spools, and you may need to fine-tune the balance point at the hanger as filament consumption progresses. Assembling the spool holder is straightforward, with photos providing visual guidance. Use either 5/16" or 8mm hardware. If you are building a RepRap, utilize any leftover materials to save costs. Shorter lengths of hardware can also be used.
