Hanging Pencil Cup for Makerbot Fusion design challenge
thingiverse
This is a space-saving, rotating, and hanging pencil cup I designed. In the spirit of the challenge, I utilized Makerbot Fusion 360 and printed using my school's Makerbot Z18 printer with Makerbot Warm Gray filament. To complement my design, I created multiple accessories. You will need to print the main body as well as either the .25 inch desk clip on hanger or for more freedom, the screw-on hanger. An optional cover was also added. The included Fusion file allows you to add branding if needed. My design saves space because it is mostly underneath your desk and you can spin the pencil cup around in the holder, allowing you to hold more tools or even put your phone in the back to avoid distractions. The cover lets you take the pencil cup home at day's end, if a coworker has sticky fingers.
