Hanging Paper Towel Holder
thingiverse
I got fed up with the broken coat hanger that was dangling from the ceiling in the barn trying to hold up some paper towels. So I quickly whipped up a new hanger. You're going to need to print two of the holder pieces and two of the attaching pieces, along with one of the coat hanger-style components. This project will also require a crossbar - I used a small piece of scrap wood that was lying around, but you could just as well use two or three Home Depot paint mixing sticks. I didn't have enough space on my print surface to print a crossbeam, and in general, the wood is the perfect tool for this job. I used screws from the harbor freight assorted small screw collection to assemble everything. Glue the coat hanger part into the attachment piece, then screw it all together - that's it! Just make sure when you're attaching the actual holder pieces to the wood, the roll should be hanging towards the edge of the tube, because the parts aren't very flexible and you want to be able to easily swap out rolls.
