Hanging monitor 15cm extender kit
thingiverse
One of my monitors is oriented vertically - it lets me view a text file outlining all my projects at a glance and update their status quickly without scrolling. The problem is, my neck gets sore looking slightly higher than usual at the top edge of screen, even when installed at the lowest position on bent rack rails used to mount it on the side of my cubicle. Clever but not clever enough. This kit allows me to drop it another 15cm and keeps it flush with the cubicle wall. Be mindful that I printed these parts with a .1mm resolution 3D printer - make sure yours is the same or better, or else these parts won't fit without filing or modification. If you found this useful, it would bring me great joy to see your work - so be sure to share! Or, better yet, please feel free to send a bitcoin or two here: 1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv. Include a note saying "Hi 3E8, thanks for the monitor hanger thing - my life is infinitely better because of it and please accept this small amount in gratitude". You're welcome! Also, feel free to browse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many: http://www.thingiverse.com/3E8/designs. Enjoy! October 31, 2017 update: Happy Halloween! I added a picture frame holder so you can decorate the spot above your vertical monitor if you want: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2618493
