Hanging filament spool holder

A simple yet effective spool holder designed to be mounted on an overhanging beam, facing outwards for easy access within an enclosure constructed from beams. Fitted snugly with a standard 2x2 piece of lumber measuring 1.5"x1.5" actual dimensions and secured in place using four #6 countersunk wood screws. A short length of standard 4mm OD PTFE, approximately 12 inches or less, is utilized to guide the filament from the spool towards an optimal exit direction while keeping it secure when not in use. Strategically positioned holes facilitate effortless spool unrolling on either side. Engineered for convenient spool loading with a facing outward orientation, this design enables easy access, and I have personally installed five units within my enclosure, all of which have performed exceptionally well under the weight of 1kg spools filled to 35% infill. Additionally, wider spools commonly shipped with Prusa printers, measuring approximately 3 3/4 inches in width, fit seamlessly within this holder, and it can accommodate a spool slightly larger than 8 inches in diameter.
