Hanging filament roller

Hanging filament roller

thingiverse

This is a simple hanging filament spool roller with two versions of the support frame. One version (hanging_filament_roller1.stl) hangs on a vertically mounted bracket (like the one provided with some Creality printers). The other version (hanging_filament_roller4.stl) uses a 4 or 5mm T nut to attach to a 20x20 frame. The roller that fits in the frames is printed in two parts & then joined. A 608 style bearing fits on the nubs on either end of the roller. ** 9/5/2021 update** I also have included an offset, 20X20 mounted, reverse bowden mount (ext rev bowden mount.stl) I use with the hanging roller used on my Creativity ELF. It uses two PC4-M6 pneumatic fittings. You probably want to drill/ream the 2mm bore to ensure easy filament movement. It is offset to avoid filament rubbing on the spool edge.
