Hanging fang blower fan adapter

<p>I wanted to use this fang fan by jneilliii: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2237084">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2237084</a></p> <p>It connects quite well to this fan duct by superpotatofudge: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2160958">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2160958</a></p> <p>However, that fan duct blocks a lot of airflow out the sides of the heatsink. Since the x-carriage itself blocks airflow out the back of the heatsink on the CR-10, that combo would have hindered cooling quite a lot, I suspect.</p> <p>Anyway, I much preferred this hanging bracket method by junaling: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2473423">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2473423</a></p> <p>But junaling's bracket doesn't really jive with jneilliii's fang - you end up with the fang blowing about 8mm too far toward the x-carriage, missing the molten plastic completely.</p> <p>To solve the problem, I remixed junaling's "bracket_face_v10.stl" to adapt jneilliii's fan onto junaling's bracket.</p> <p>To use:</p> <ol> <li>Choose &amp; print one of the 4x fan designs from jneilliii.</li> </ol> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2237084">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2237084</a></p> <ol start="2"> <li>Print junaling's "bracket_end_v10.stl"</li> </ol> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2473423">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2473423</a></p> <p>Note: Due to PLA shrinkage, I had to print this at 102% scale to properly fit my Micro Swiss hotend.</p> <ol start="3"> <li>Choose &amp; print one of my adapters.</li> </ol> <p>As for my adapters, I'm personally using the 12.5mm one, with cutout. I used the cutout because I was nervous about getting PLA too close to the heating block.
