Hanging Door Roller
thingiverse
This repository includes components needed to mount a sliding door on a track. While renovating my home, I had to take out the sliding doors. The existing sliding door was hanging too low for the new flooring and underlayment (it's about 0.1 inches thicker) and the existing bracket didn't have enough adjustment range to fit the thicker carpet. It made sense that after 20 or so years, the rubber wheels had deteriorated as well. I looked into available options in New Zealand and found that the replacements were pretty pricey, but more importantly, they wouldn't work well with the subpar installation of the existing doors. The tracks in my house are mounted too high up on the wall, making it impossible to simply remove the door by unhooking it and lifting it off. The design of this component allows you to install the wheel bracket separately from the door, then attach them. This process can be challenging, but I'm not sure if there's an alternative, and it does work. For the latest components and more information, visit https://github.com/ioquatix/hanging-door-roller
