Hanging Belt Hanger vol.2.1 with dress belt + regular belt hooks
thingiverse
The original idea was inspired by Grantbaxter's design on Thingiverse, specifically his model number 2169097. This creative modification builds upon the existing features of that basic model and aims to improve them further. The resulting cloth hanger is designed to hold multiple belts or heavier cloths while also incorporating stylish holes for hanging jewelry, scarves, ties, various accessories, or even other clothes hangers. For optimal strength, the hook must be printed horizontally and mounted afterwards, allowing it to easily support some weight. With dimensions large enough to fit on a 32mm rod, this design is printer-friendly with no difficult overhangs or bridging required. Additionally, no extra supports should be needed during printing. This design draws inspiration from two other hooks found on Thingiverse: the Curtain Hook by meetar (thing number 16843) and the General Purpose Hook (Larger) by Bartth (thing number 2039243). Following a suggestion from Grantbaxter, an S-shaped hook was added to allow for hanging items in the oval holes below. Although not the most aesthetically pleasing addition, it serves its purpose. If you decide to create your own hanger, feel free to share your project on Thingiverse. Happy printing! **Print Settings:** * Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro C * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2mm Layer Height * Infill: 10-20% * Notes: + Dimensions of the holder: x=75mm, y=75mm, z=94mm + Infill 15-20% is sufficient; more does not provide additional stability. + Increase perimeters and top/bottom layers for a stronger print instead. A maximum of ~6 should be adequate. + The hook must be printed horizontally for greater strength. **Simplify3D Build Stats:** * Build time: 5 hours 17 minutes * Filament length: 13223.0 mm * Plastic weight: 39.76 g (0.09 lb)
