Hanging Basket

The first 3D design project I tackled was a small basket, designed in Sketchup, for hanging on furniture at home. I measured the furniture with calipers and used those measurements to create my model. Next up is a yogurt cup holder – though, after testing, it turns out my little basket can hold an empty yogurt cup just fine! The design was printed using red ABS plastic on my Makerbot Replicator 2X with medium profile settings, 20% infill, and a raft but no supports. I used the default right extruder setting and exported the file as x3g before printing.
