Hanger Alignment Pin Holder
thingiverse
I built this tool to secure the screw in the back of any "Eye Hole" mortise type of back support. To use it effectively, you'll need a 1/2 inch or longer #8 screw. First, hook the screw into the eyelet and slide it to the end point. Next, tape the sides to keep it from falling out. Once you have the frame positioned where you want it, press the frame against the wall to create small divots. After that, simply drill an anchor in the spot where the divot is or pre-drill a hole there and hang your frame up.
