Hangar Sub Hook
prusaprinters

I've seen these sub hooks being sold that fit over a coat hangar to allow accessories or even another coat hangar to be dangled from. A simple idea that can be easily reproduced with a 3D printer and at a low cost.

Here is my design that duplicates the functionality of the hooks. The choice of 3D filament type is open. If serious strength is required (to hang heavy weight), a Nylon filament would be a good choice.

My print is made in PETG 1.75mm Aurarum red (looks sunburnt orange) filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. No printing rafts, but support for the hole will improve the print finish.

I hope you can find this print useful, too.

Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
