This project is perfect for organizing small tools in various spaces. I made it for my kitchen, but it has numerous applications. For the hooks, I used ones from an assortment pack (as shown in the picture). To ensure a proper fit, print a hanger and take it to the hardware store. The hook diameter was 1/2 inch. The printed hangers snugly fit the aluminum rod, ensuring they stay in place. The aluminum rod has an OD of 3/16 inches (0.187 inches), but any material would work; a wood dowel could be an alternative, although its performance is uncertain. By implementing this system, I was finally able to declutter my measuring cups and spoons that were previously scattered in a drawer. Give it a try, and you'll enjoy the organization benefits too!
