Handy vac for kids
thingiverse
Since I wanted to give my noisy printer fans a second chance, I decided to build a small handheld vac for my little son. So now the fan does what it was designed to do - make noise! Of course, the handheld vac doesn't have a vacuum to clean floors or anything else... To make this handy device, you'll need: 1x Motherboard fan or any other 40x40x10 fan that runs on 12V 2x 9v batteries 2x 9v battery connectors (wired in parallel with each other) 1x switch (with a special feature: the handheld vac is completely round, so if it tips over, it turns off automatically) 5x 5mm LEDs (3 in a row and 2 parallel to them) 4x countersunk head screws 4x20 2 x head screws 3x5 Some wires Have fun! Pictures show my first attempt. I made some changes to the handle...
