Handy Handheld Camera Mount
thingiverse
This is a handy holder for small video or still cameras that enables you to set the camera down on any surface or tripod mount effortlessly. It comes with an optional GoPro mount, allowing you to catch something in slow motion simultaneously if desired. The trapped nut and bolt design makes assembly a breeze, and the indent at the bottom accommodates different sized lens caps with ease - simply print your own and superglue it in. I've included a remix of a 49mm lens cap holder, which might suit your needs perfectly. Update: I've added a version of the handle that is 1/4" taller to cater for larger hands. Instructions: Print top and bottom with support - printing support at 10% infill has worked for me, but your results may vary. The top and bottom fit together snugly, so it's best to use ca glue (superglue) to ensure they stay securely in place, avoiding damage to your camera in the process. To assemble this camera holder correctly, you will need a standard 1/4-20 nut for the bottom tripod mount and a 1/4-20 bolt between 1/4" and 1/2" long where the main camera attaches - you may have to trim the bolt to ensure your camera seats properly. The knurled knob stays securely in place when you push in the 1/4" bolt from underneath. Be sure it fits perfectly and turns smoothly before gluing the top and bottom together for optimal results.
